New Providence PAL

The NPPAL has an open position for a Baseball commissioner. We invite you to team up with a fellow parent to fill the Head and Assistant Commissioner roles or apply for one of the roles on your own.

Why is this role so important? Our Commissioners shape the NPPAL programs to challenge, inspire and grow our young athletes in all areas of life: sportsmanship, dedication, goals and grit. We are looking for someone who can fill this role and make a positive impact on our youth. Our NPPAL board members support you throughout your tenure so you can rely on us to give feedback and guidance when you need it.

If you are interested in volunteering to hold one of these positions and would like a description of their responsibilities, please reach out to president@newprovidencepal.org.

New Providence PAL

🥎🥎🥎🥎🥎🥎🥎🥎🥎🥎🥎🥎🥎🥎🥎🥎🥎🥎🥎🥎

Registration for the 2022 Spring New Providence PAL Travel Softball League is now open for 8U, 10U, 12U and 14U players!

Cost:
The cost is $125.00 per player.

When/Where:
- Practices will take place during the week (most likely 2x/wk) at Salt Brook Elementary and/or AWR

- Games will be on weekends - either Saturdays or Sundays, and will take place both home and away (near surrounding towns).

Team Formation:
Teams will be capped at a manageable number per age group and once the number is met a waitlist for that age group will be started. If a specific age group has a strong number of players registered, there will be an evaluation held to form more than one team in that group.

Registration deadline: Sunday, February 6, 2022
Please register as soon as possible. If you have any questions or have an issue with registering in a timely manner but plan to do so when convenient for your family, please e-mail Karen Gaeta and let her know. Cost should never be an issue - PAL will help, so please indicate that if needed as well.

Those interesting in coaching, please also register as a volunteer coach on Community Pass under PAL as well. This must be done every season. There is no cost. If you are specifically interested in Head Coaching, please e-mail me directly after you register.
