New Providence PAL

Registration is now open through Community Pass for New Providence PAL Girls’ Softball. This includes 8U, 10U, 12U and 14U eligible players (see chart below).

Fee is $220 per player.

Evaluations will be held for 8U and 10U players on the evening of
Saturday, March 2, 2019 between 5-9pm at Upper Deck Elite Baseball and Softball Academy in Berkeley Heights.

Try-outs will be held for 12U and 14U players also on the evening of
Saturday, March 2, 2019 at Upper Deck.
Specific times for each age group will be announced to registrants as date draws closer.

Player Eligibility Requirements:

8U- 8 years old or younger as of 12/31/2018

10U- 10 years old or younger as of 12/31/18

12U- 12 years old or younger as of 12/31/18

14U- 14 years old or younger as of 12/31/18

New Providence PAL

PAL Spring Softball 2019 Update!!!

Registration for the 2019 PAL Spring Softball Season will open this week. Please stay tuned for an announcement as to when you can go on to Community Pass to register your player.

PAL Softball is a competitive travel program for girls ages eight through fourteen years old. Practices generally take place two times per week along with games typically played on weekends in nearby towns.

Team practices begin at the beginning of March and will be held indoor. Games begin typically during mid- April and the season runs until mid-late June.

Evaluations/ Try-outs: These will take place on Saturday, March 2nd at Upper Deck Baseball/ Softball Academy in Berkeley Heights between the hours of 5:00-9:00pm. Specific times for age groups will be announced shortly.

PAL Middle School Team: Parents of girls in grades 6 through 8th are invited to attend an informational meeting on Monday, January 21st regarding the possibility of forming a PAL Middle School Team. This team would play and practice after school during the week. Depending on registration numbers and interest, this would be in addition to our traditional program. Please contact Karen Gaeta if you would like more information.

Winter training: If you are interested in winter training opportunities for your player please contact Karen as well.

At this time, NP PAL has an opening for CHEERLEADING commissioner. This position supports and develops the K-8 cheerleading program that consists of approx. 100 girls.

We are reaching out to the community for volunteers, who are aligned with our mission, to fill this board position. If interested in joining the board, please e-mail: president@newprovidencepal.org or message us through FB. Based on the number of responses the board will go through a selection process. The process will conclude in roughly 60 days.
