The New Providence Police Athletic League (‘PAL’), is a nationally affiliated non-profit organization that formed in New Providence in 1949. In line with our mission, NP PAL is committed to providing athletic programs for area youth that promote self-confidence and responsibility, encourage a healthy competitive spirit, and foster lasting relationships with volunteer members of the community.

 

NP PAL provides competitive athletic programs for area youth including Baseball, Basketball, Cheerleading, Football, Softball, and Wrestling. NP PAL strives to give as many children as possible the opportunity to participate, learn and have fun.

Our Mission

  • To foster and encourage in the youth of the community of New Providence, a spirit of the American traditions
  • To participate actively in constructive endeavors, for the promotion of interests and general welfare of the youth and community
  • To promote the spirit of friendship, sociability, goodwill and tolerance among the youth of this community
  • To cultivate and improve the moral and civic standards of the youth
  • To further promote clean sportsmanship and good citizenship among boys and girls of the borough of New Providence
